Signs Your PGT Window Installation Is Failing

• The sash won’t stay open or drifts closed. On PGT single-hung and horizontal roller units, this usually means the balance shoe or roller carriage has cracked. In Lighthouse Point, salt air accelerates corrosion of the stainless balance spring. The window feels “heavy” before it fails completely.
• Visible moisture between glass panes. The insulated glass unit (IGU) seal has failed.
