Meet the Lighthouse Point Team Behind Sightline Windows & Doors Lighthouse Point
Every window and door we install in Lighthouse Point passes through hands we’ve trained ourselves. We’re not a dispatch board routing strangers to your house. We’re a crew that measures together, problem-solves together, and shows up together. What ties us together isn’t a handbook. It’s the Haven Standard, and the fact that none of us would want an unverified installer walking into our own homes.
Our People
Sonia Raman, Owner
I started Sightline in 2012 after watching too many homeowners in Broward County get a verbal “ballpark” that somehow tripled once the crew was halfway through the job. That doesn’t happen here. Haven Clause 1 means the measurement and the quote are the same document, and I sign off on every one before it goes out. I still ride along on complex installs, especially custom geometric windows where the sightline measurement has to account for how the afternoon sun hits the master bedroom in Venetian Isles versus the morning exposure in Lighthouse Estates. My detail: I keep a worn PGT installation manual from 2013 in my truck. The binding is cracked, the impact-rated glazing tables are highlighted in three colors, and I still reference it when a job calls for something outside the usual spec.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with us eight years and runs our impact window and door crew. He’s certified on PGT WinGuard and CGI Estate Collection installs, and he’s the one we send when a job requires re-framing after salt-air deterioration in the older Lighthouse Point waterfront homes near the Intracoastal. He’ll tell you straight if your existing buck frame can take a new impact-rated unit or if you’re looking at structural work first. His detail: Marcus brings a small level everywhere, even to initial surveys. Says he’s seen too many “square” openings that were off by a quarter-inch once you checked diagonally.
Diana R., Senior Installer
Diana specializes in energy-efficient retrofits and sliding patio door replacements, with additional certification on Therma-Tru entry systems. She’s particularly good at talking homeowners through U-factor and SHGC trade-offs when they’re trying to cut cooling loads without darkening the house. Last spring she handled a tricky four-unit replacement in a Bermuda-style home where the original steel windows had settled unevenly. Her detail: Diana keeps a photo log of every job’s “before” condition on her phone, going back six years. She says it helps her remember what she promised, and it comes in handy when customers call two years later asking what product line we used.
James K., Service Coordinator
James is the voice most Lighthouse Point customers hear first. He schedules surveys, confirms material orders from our eight manufacturer lines, and makes sure the right product shows up on the right day. He’s also the one who delivers our free second opinion when a homeowner brings us a competitor’s written estimate. James cross-checks every line item against current PGT, CWS, and ES Windows pricing, and he’ll flag when a quote specifies a product that doesn’t match the performance claim. His detail: James keeps a whiteboard in the office with every active job’s delivery date. If a manufacturer slips, he knows before the crew does and adjusts the schedule.
Elena V., Apprentice Installer
Elena joined us in 2023 after completing her construction technology program at Atlantic Technical College. She’s working toward full certification on ECO Window Systems and ViewLux custom units, and she currently shadows Marcus on impact-rated installs while handling simpler fixed-window replacements independently. She’s already developed a sharp eye for glazing bead alignment, which is harder to get right than it looks on tall narrow units common in Lighthouse Point’s mid-century ranch homes. Her detail: Elena takes the documented photo record on every job she works, and she’s particular about getting the same angle on “after” shots that we used for “before.” Says it makes the comparison honest.
One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard isn’t a slogan we paste on trucks. It’s five clauses we operate under, and every person on this crew can recite them. Have it in writing. Arrive on schedule. Verified crews. Evidence on every job. No surprises. When you call (754) 600-8907, you reach a live person because James or Sonia answers. When we show up, we’re in uniform with license numbers visible because Haven Clause 3 requires it. When we finish, you get your documented photo record and your written warranty because that’s what the standard says. We’ve installed more than 18,000 windows and doors since 2012, every one with a written price before work started and a photo record when it finished. The 365-Day Done Right Promise covers every job we complete in Lighthouse Point, not because we’re feeling generous, but because it’s stamped on every contract. If you’re pricing a project, call (754) 600-8907 to schedule your free estimate. We’ll measure, we’ll write the price, and you’ll keep the document.
